About Me

My name is Keith Solberg and this journey began in the early 70’s with the creation of a box in my family garage when I was 12 years old. I grew up on a farm in rural King County and quickly developed a figure it out way of thinking.

The bulk of my working years have been spent as a remodeling contractor. It is a privilege to help clients redesign their house to make it a home. This work has helped me to figure out how to do most anything when it comes to building - from conception, to design, to creating new rooms, buildings, and pieces. Pieces of furniture. Pieces of function that allow people to enhance their lives in so many ways.

I never stop appreciating the miracle that is wood. That every time, an individual cuts into a piece of wood, they are the first living being to see that very piece of wood is a miracle to notice and appreciate.

Everyone deserves to be surrounded by quality things. Furniture that lasts. That carries the story of our lives, our families, our home environment.
